This guide briefly explains what we collect when you request a hut quotation, how it is used, and how we approach cookies. The full Privacy & Cookie Policy contains the detailed terms and your data protection rights.
Until 10 October 2026, Highland Huts operated through Bravalan Ltd (SC855006). From 11 October 2026, Highland Huts Ltd (SC898546) handles new enquiries and quotations. The two businesses are separate legal companies, and earlier Bravalan personal data does not automatically transfer.
Our website may collect your name, email address, telephone number, home or delivery address, postcode, chosen hut layout and optional extras, and any photos or plans you upload. Technical information may also be recorded when you use the website.
Our online builder uses WooCommerce and related tools to save your selections and contact details as an order-style quotation record. This is not an online purchase or a binding contract. We do not take payments through the website. If you decide to go ahead, the order and payment arrangements are confirmed separately.
We use your details to answer enquiries, calculate delivery estimates, prepare quotations, agree specifications, arrange production and delivery of confirmed orders, keep financial records and provide aftercare. We only use information where we have an appropriate lawful basis.
We do not sell your personal information. Where needed, we may share relevant details with independent transport providers, subcontractors, accountants, banks, website or IT suppliers, and professional advisers.
We normally keep order and financial records for at least six years. Incomplete quotations may be removed after 30 days; submitted quotations may be retained for up to two years after an enquiry closes; general enquiries normally up to 12 months. Some records may be needed longer for warranties or legal reasons.
Our website may use cookies or similar browser storage for essential features, security, forms and the hut quotation builder. Some services may use analytics or third-party content. Where optional technologies require consent, we must ask first and allow you to decline or withdraw it; some limited statistics or preference uses qualify for an exception with an easy way to object. Continuing to browse does not count as consent. You can also manage cookies through your browser.
